Piper spent her first night away from home this weekend - and was such a good baby! We went to see my good friend and college teammate Vikki, who lives in Dover, DE. Vikki comes to Severna Park to visit us a lot, and we decided it was finally time to return the favor!
I am a chronic over-packer for just about everything - and this overnight trip was no different. I think Matt about passed out when he saw the pile of stuff I had packed up for our trip - which would have us away for home for just over 24 hours. At least now, I have an excuse - "It's for Piper!". Even I can't believe how much "stuff" you need for such a small human being...a pack n' play, stroller, diaper bag, multiple clothing changes, bottles - and that is just for her!
We had a great time on our mini-vacation and it reminded us just how close Vikki lives to us. I'm sure there will be many more overnight trips to Dover in our future! Hopefully, with less stuff!
