Lockdown!

Though I have done my best to only share this blog with friends and family, it has recently come to my attention that there are others, specifically co-workers, who have found it. As much as I respect my coworkers and enjoy working with them, I don't care to share my personal life with them (other than what I share when in the office). If I had wanted them to know about this blog, I would have shared it with them - but given I haven't given anyone at work this website...well, that alone should speak volumes that I never intended co-workers to have access or even know about this. How they found out is beyond me but it's neither here nor there - it's already done. This is nothing to take personally, it's simply that I prefer to keep my non-professional life separate from my professional life. It's one of the reasons I refuse to "friend" co-workers on Facebook.

Therefore, in the near future (when I have time to do it) this site will be on lock down and only those people who I have invited to view it will have access. I don't want to discourage anyone who is interested in seeing what goes on in our lives - especially those friends and family who live far away, or those we don't have a chance to talk to often. That was the whole reason I started this last summer - to share with our friends our adventures of our new life on the East Coast. I don't care if you're a new friend, an old friend, an ex friend/flame, family, whatever - I love knowing that there are people out there that enjoy keeping up with the adventures of JAM.

Unfortunately, the only way to limit access is to set the blog to "invite only" - thus, I have to add each person's email individually. Given I don't have everyone's emails who checks out this blog - please email me at Jenwelch1@yahoo.com if you would like to continue having access (or drop me a line on FB) - I'll gladly give it to you...so long as I don't see you every day at work!

PS. You'll also notice I've taken down all old posts - once there is a little more control over who sees this blog, I'll repost all of them - not that any of you want to to back and read any of them! :)
