The term "Circle of Life" refers to the fact that death is not really the end but the seed of another life. In my case, the death of my father happened as another life was truly forming, and thankfully for us, the new life would be increasing our Welch family number by one!
Introducing the newest member of the Welch family, Baby Bean, estimated to arrive around April 27th, 2012! We are overjoyed and can't wait for Baby Bean to join our family.
We were fortunate enough to find out early enough to tell my father before he passed, and I know it brought him great joy to know that we have another baby on the way. He adored Piper Jayne and loved spending time with her, making funny faces and playing kissy face, and I know he would have adored Baby Bean just as much. Now, Baby Bean has a Guardian Angel looking out for him/her!! (Like Piper Jayne, I won't be finding out what we're having, though Matt already knows! Don't even try to get it out of him - he won't slip!).
