Since Mommy hasn't been keeping up with her end of the bargain and updating this each week, I'm taking over. Well, for this week at least!
There has been lots of activity around home these days - mom and dad's contractor built us a new top to our front porch, put in new lights in the kitchen and this week he's coming to put tile on the kitchen floor and put and whole new fixtures in the downstairs bathroom. Whew - he's been working hard!
I've been working hard too - at growing! I am still in newborn diapers and newborn onsies, but mom and dad can tell that I'm filling out! Mommy even mentioned last night that I'm getting a double chin and a "baby belly". Whatever that means. Pretty soon, I'll be able to wear all the pretty 0-3 month clothes that have just been hanging in my closet! I sure hope so, because there are a lot of them! I've been practicing holding my head up since I got here and now, I can hold it up long enough to sit up in my new bumbo seat. I really like it when mommy sticks me in it and turns on the family room fan - I get to watch it go round and round and round.
I've also been busy meeting new people. Last weekend, I met mommy's boss and a bunch of people she works with at a BBQ at her bosses house. Today I met my boyfriend Evan Triolo, and tomorrow, I am going to meet my other boyfriend Owen Zelenakas. I hope they both like older women because I've got Owen beat by a month and Evan beat by a month and a half! And I meet lots of strangers when mommy takes me out on the town - everyone says how beatiful and cute and tiny I am...I like the beautiful and cute comments, but hey, I'm growing fast - I'm not tiny anymore!
The bad news these days is that mommy has to go back to work soon. I sure am going to miss her. But, we still have another week and a half and we're going to enjoy every minute of it!
