From She-Devil to Star!

Last night was PJ's third swim class, and much to our delight and surprise, she actually ENJOYED it! No more screaming at the top of her lungs and crying for 30 minutes straight!

This time, I got to take her in since it was one of the only Monday nights I'll be home early enough from work to take her, so of course, the competitive nature of Matt's and my relationship let's me gloat that it was all me. But, let's be real, in all likeliness, it had nothing to do with me and more to do with the fact that she is becoming more comfortable in the water. Not only did she actually start blowing bubbles with me, but she went under MULTIPLE times without freaking out and even signed "more" to me after playing Humpty Dumpty. There were high fives, fist bumps and lots of smiles to go around! She did a great job "swimming" for the floating rubber duckies, and ended the class by clapping her hands and we even got a "Yay!" out of her.

Her teacher Colbie seemed drawn to her throughout the class with compliments about her big blue eyes and couldn't believe her sign language abilities. That's my girl!
