When we decided to head to IN for a few days, we thought it would be a great opportunity to stop by Cleveland and see our friends the Kuhn's, whom we met last year on our babymoon cruise. Kevin and Dana followed in our (baby) steps and had Laney 6 months after we had Piper Jayne so it was time to see them again and introduce the girls!The timing couldn't have been more perfect since the night we were planning on driving through Cleveland was the night of their combined birthday party! We got in early enough to relax, catch up and enjoy some amazing Sangria (my fav) before the party got underway. It was great to see them, meet their friends and families and enjoy scrumptious food from Chef Chris - the force behind the Hodge Podge food truck - which will be on the Food Networks "Great Food Truck Race" premiering this Sunday night! Between the sweet potato tater tots, smoked ribs and mashed potatoes and the scallops and risotto, I don't know what was my favorite! I'm just glad we had the excuse to leave early the next morning so we didn't have to stick around and clean up the mess!! Thanks Kevin, Dana and Laney - it was great seeing you and we'll plan on it again the next time we head to IN!
