Matt and his sexy Christmas sweater. 
Christmas morning was pretty quiet at the Welch household - which was just fine by us because we knew it would be pandamonium the rest of the day with my family. Though we were excited for Piper's first Christmas, we knew that she'd have no idea what was going on and would probably like playing with the wrapping paper and boxes more than anything else.
Matt and Piper opened presents while I sipped on hot chocolate, then Matt (and Piper) sent me on a crazy, hysterical hunt around the house for various clues leading up to my gift! The clue hunt itself was one of the best ways I've ever been given a present, and the effort led me to one of the best gifts I've ever gotten - diamond earrings! (I'd say that Matt and Piper are the best gifts I've ever gotten!) What an amazing, wonderful surprise!!
After all the excitement died down, we headed over (in our PJ's) to my brother's house to have breakfast with him and his family and my parents, then back to our house to change and then over to my parents for the rest of the day! Eventually the rest of my siblings and their families arrived and the day was spent opening presents and of course, eating!
