I'm not sure how, but my child has become quite enthralled with Thomas and Friends, much to daddy's chagrin. It all started out with a pop up book, which after the 100th time of reading, Matt finally hid it away. Then came the video's that she asks to watch on a daily basis (just because she asks doesn't mean we say yes!), and now she's on to the little figurines, courtesy of her nanny (whose son loves Thomas too). And though she's learning new words on a daily basis - "beach" and "pee-pee" are her two recent new ones - "Thomas" and "Percy" weren't high up there on the list of words I wanted her to learn!
I'm not sure what we have a head of us with a little girl that loves playing dress up, drags her baby dolls everywhere and loves shoes, and yet loves Thomas the Tank Engine. Prissy girl or tom boy!? Only time will tell.
