Child of God

Piper is now officially a child of God! We baptized her on Sunday, in front of family and friends at our home. Our dear friend (and my former roommate and bridesmaid) Susan is Piper's Godmother and Matt's brother Mark is Godfather.
It is a tradition in my family to be baptized at home - I can still remember my baptism, when I was in 3rd grade (I have never asked why my parents waited until then?!). So, we decided to continue the tradition and have our family priest, the same one who baptized me, come over to baptize Piper. (If you are a Yankee fan, our priest is Mark Teixera's uncle!)
